Infinity: Bigger Than You Think

Explore infinity as a concept that behaves differently from any large number.

Welcome to this session, where we’ll gently explore a concept that often feels too vast to grasp. Take a moment to settle your body. Soften your shoulders. Let your breath deepen slightly, a quiet inhale… and a slow exhale. One more gentle breath, drawing in… and releasing. As we move through this idea, please know you don't need to remember anything. This isn't about studying or mastering facts. It's simply an invitation to follow a thread of thought, allowing your attention to expand and contract with the ideas presented. The practice is in the gentle holding of attention, not in solving a puzzle. Today, we're considering infinity. When you first hear the word, what comes to mind? Perhaps something endless, boundless, without limit. A journey that never stops, a number that keeps growing, a space that stretches forever. This intuitive understanding of infinity is a good starting point. It’s the idea of "more than you can count," or "always another one." Consider the natural numbers: one, two, three, and so on. They go on forever.
