Open Field

No assigned objects — pick your own two from whatever is available.

Before anything else — look around the inside of your experience. Body, room, mind. Don't decide yet. Just scan. Pick two. Anything that's actually present right now. Not what seems right. Not what you used last time. Two objects that exist in this moment. You have them. Hold both. Now toggle. Move from one to the other. Switch. Switch. Find your own pace. You're running this now. Speed it up. Shorter dwell time. Move faster between them. Slow back down. Full dwell on each. Land completely before you move. Now try something different: hold one in the foreground with full resolution. Let the other drop to the edge — background monitoring. You're not switching anymore. You're splitting the field into foreground and periphery. What happens to the background object? Does it go blurry? Does it disappear entirely and then snap back? Find the real answer, not the answer you expect. Switch. Bring the background object forward. Let the other fall back. Now try asymmetric hold — give more weight to one. More of your attention, more resolution.
